New Delhi, Oct 20: A Maruti Eeco car suddenly exploded while it was being refilled with CNG (compressed natural gas) at a filling station in North-east Delhi's Kalyanpuri today.
The explosion took place near National Highway 24. The blast was so severe that the car was blown up to pieces, and the roof of the CNG station was blown away, injuring three CNG refilling staff.
The three employees were rushed to Lal Bahadur Shastri hospital.
Nearly six fire tenders reached the spot to control the blaze. The reasons for the explosion are not known.
