Chaibasa (Jharkhand), Dec 17: Maoists yesterday set ablaze about a dozen vehicles belonging to a construction company in Deruwan village in West Singhbhum district, police said.
Around 50 armed ultras arrived at the railway track construction site in the jungle late in the evening and set on fire vehicles engaged in the construction work, Police Superintendent Pakaj said.
Vehicles including dumpers and excavators were torched by the ultras, he said, adding that the construction company was engaged in setting up a third railway line.
