Meanwhile, a Bihar BJP delegation, led by former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi, visited Pisai village to console the grieving family members of the seven slain villagers, including Zilla Parishad member Usha Devi's husband Sushil Pandey, who was said to be the prime target of the attack for his alleged association with the outlawed Ranvir Sena.
Modi urged the state government to deal with Maoist insurgency with strong force to ensure safety and security of the people.
Other senior BJP leaders like Giriraj Singh andRamadhar Singh also came down heavily on the JD (U) government and slammed it for the deteriorating law and order situation in Bihar.
