Noida, July 2 : Dhanoj, a young man staying in a rented house with his friends, stabbed his girlfriend Meenakshi to death on Monday in Mamura village, Sector 66, after a quarrel, and later absconded.
Deputy superintendent of police, Noida, Vishwajit Srivastava, said, 22-year-old Meenakshi was in love with Dhanoj, and had come to his room on Monday.
The two had a quarrel, and neighbours had to intervene. Soon after, Dhanoj left his room locking Meenakshi inside. Inquisitive neighbours opened the room, to find the woman's body lying in blood.
Police is on the lookout of the killer.
