Satara, Maharashtra, Apr 14: A 29-year-old man Kunal Wadkar on Saturday shot his 50-year-old mother and then himself with a revolver, before leaving a suicide note naming a man who had refused to return him Rs 3 lakhs.
The incident took place in Satyam B apartments in Sadar Bazar here.
Kunal first wrote a suicide note " A Mr.....took Rs 3 lakhs from me. I was cheated in business. There's no point of staying alive. If I die, who will take care of my mother, who remains ill most of the time. Hence, I am killing her and myself.."
Kunal first shot dead his mother inside the apartment, drove his car 35 km away towards the highway and then shot himself with three bullets at point blank range, police said.
