New Delhi, Aug 15: Gurmeet Singh, a 55-year-old man staying in Tilak Nagar, lost his hand as he fell on the Metro track this afternoon and was run over by a Delhi Metro train.
The train driver tried his best to stop the train, thus saving Gurmeet Singh's life.
He was rushed to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital. Police is trying to ascertain the cause of the accident, as eyewitnesses said Gurmeet suddenly jumped in front of the moving train at Tilak Nagar station.
