Kolkata, May 21: That she is a chief minister of the masses, her concern for people was proved once again by Mamata Banerjee today when she asked the police not to stop traffic to allow her convoy to move.

The Chief Minister's black Santro car was on its way to Writers' Buildings from her Kalighat residence when traffic police stopped other vehicles near the Police Training School on AJC Bose road to allow her convoy to pass.

Finding other cars being stopped, the Chief Minister asked her security and police personnel not to stop other vehicles and that her car will follow traffic signals like others.

Banerjee's car strictly followed all traffic signals during her journey from her Kalighat residence to Writers' Buildings, giving anxious moments to her security and the police. PTI
