Kolkata, Sept 4: West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday opted out of the delegation accompanying Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on his two-day trip to Dhaka, apparently in protest against a treaty on sharing the Teesta river's waters.
"No, she is not going," said a senior state government official here.
Banerjee, along with chief ministers of four other states, was to be part of the Prime Minister's delegation to Dhaka for the Sep 6-7 visit.
