New Delhi: An Australian geneticist Prof Jenny Graves from the Research School of Biology at the Australian National University in Canberra has predicted that the poorly designed Y chromosome, that creates male, is degrading rapidly and will disappear from the earth, even if humans are still around.
Repeating her 2009 prediction about the extinction of males at the Australian Academy of Science recently, Prof Jenny Graves said, the male Y chromosome could run out within the next five million years, which is a snap in evolutionary terms.
