Pune: A major fire broke out at Tata Motor's warehouse in Chakan near Pune. It had housed plastics to be used for the packaging of spare parts.
The incident had taken place yesterday night.
Soon after the fire department was informed about the incident, officials with 12 fire-engines rushed to the scene and doused the flame.
A fire department official said that nearly 80 labours were present inside the warehouse when the untoward incident took place.
No casualty has been reported, an official said.
The warehouse is spread over 800 acres of land.
Goods and machinery worth lakhs were gutted in the incident.
