Major bureaucratic reshuffle: Home Ministry transfers 45 IPS, 33 IAS officers of AGMUT cadre

Union Home Ministry's Union Terrorities Division, the cadre controlling authority issued the transfer notice that contains the names of 45 IPS and 33 IAS officers.

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Ministry of Home Affairs on Thursday transferred 33 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and 45 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers of the AGMUT cadre. DCPs of North-East, North, North-West, South-West and South-East districts in Delhi transferred from Delhi. Joint Commissioner in the Delhi Police, Meenu Chaudhary - IPS officer of the 2000 batch - was transferred from Delhi to Mizoram.

Delhi's Ajay Kumar Gupta, a 2010 batch officer and presently the District Magistrate of South East Delhi was sent to the UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (DNH&DD). 

Another Delhi's official Monica Priyadarshini,  a 2014 batch officer, the Special Commissioner of Industries, was also tranferred to the UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.

Bhupesh Chaudhary, a 2014 batch officer, Director, Higher Education, and Shashanka Ala, a 2014 batch officer, were shifted to Ladakh.

Prerna Puri, a 2006 batch officer and the CEO of the JakeGA (Jammu & Kashmir e-Governance Agency Department of Information Technology), was sent to Chandigarh.
