Bhopal, Jun 19: Senior IPS officer and Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Railways, Maithili Sharan Gupt has been elected as the President of the IPS Association of Madhya Pradesh.
The IPS Association polls were held last evening in which Gupt was elected as the President and Commandant Seventh Batallion, Pramod Varma as Secretary, association sources said today.
Besides, Inspector Generals Sanjeev Shami, Sonali Mishra and Superintendent of Police (SP) K B Sharma were elected as members of the body.
