Indore: Indore Lokayukta team had a huge success when they raided junior food officer Ashwin Nayak's residence early sunday morning and found a large amount of unaccounted property worth more than Rs 50 crore. The Lokayuktya decided to raid his house after they received several complaints against the official.
During the initial investigation, officials found papers of five flats , same number of plots, two gymnasiums, two gas agencies in Rau and Rs fifteen lakhs in cash. The junior food officer is currently posted in Khandwa. Authorities also recovered documents that confirmed that Nayak owned a building with 36 flats at Rau.
The Raids were also conducted at his residences in Indore, Rau and Khandwa simultaneously. It is estimated that the total value of Nayak's property at current market price would be around Rs 50 crore
