Addressing an election rally, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal says, "When PM Modi came to power in 2014, he made a rule that in BJP, a leader who reaches the age 75 will be made to retire...next year PM Modi will be 75 so naturally he will retire. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) on Friday expelled MLA Lobin Hembram from the party for 6 years. 

"In the four phases of elections, PM Modi has crossed 270 seats and is moving towards 400 and this time BJP government is going to be formed in Odisha as well," said Union Home Minister Amit Shah in an election address in Odisha.

BJP released 19th list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections from Punjab and fielded Subhash Sharma from Anandpur Sahib, Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodi from Firozpur & Arvind Khanna from Sangrur.

"We all wanted that there should be no changes made in the Preamble of the Constitution, but the Congress Govt made a change to it in 1976 when Indira Gandhi was the Prime Minister," he said.

"In 10 years, you did nothing in the interest of the country. You abrogated Article 370 to ensure that a few industrialists, like Adani, can purchase land at prime locations there (J&K). You did not do it for the country," he said.

"Definitely not. We have had the majority to change the Constitution for the last 10 years...We never did it," he said when asked about the speculations around '400 paar' especially regarding a change in the Constitution.

"I don't see any such possibilities. An army of 60 crore-strong beneficiaries are standing with PM Modi, they have no caste or age group," he said.

"Statements, by any leader, are made in view of the recent situation. PM made the statement by seeing the current situation and even I believe that there is going to be a change in the government there - BJP will form the state government there," he said.

"Anyone can say anything they want but the voters of India are mature enough. Let the counting happen, they (foreign media) will go on a holiday after that," he said.

"If someone says that this is a separate country, it is very objectionable...This country can never be divided now. A tall leader of Congress party spoke about dividing north and south India and the Congress party doesn't even deny it or separate itself from the statement," he said.

"We have made it very clear...that as long as there is even one MP of the BJP, nobody can touch reservations for SC, ST and OBC in this country," he said.

"All extremist group leaders are going and voting...They became participants in a democratic process. Earlier, slogans to boycott elections were raised but today elections are being held peacefully," he said.

"All parties are dynasty-based. All of them say that they will restore Article 370," Amit Shah said.
