The prime ministrial candidate of BJP Narendera Modi reached Gauri Chowk this morning and met the family of 65-year-old Rajnarayan Singh who died in Sunday's serial blasts.



He presented a cheque of  Rs  5 lakh to the family of Rajnarayan Singh.

Modi is scheduled to meet the families of all six persons who died in  Patna serial blasts. Modi reached Patna late Friday night.

A high alert has been issued both by Intelligence Bureau and Bihar police in the wake of Modi's  visit.

Modi was scheduled to reach Kamarji village of Gauri chak by At 7:05 am today but his helicopter did not get the Air Traffic Control approval  due to  early morning fog.
