4 pm: Delhi Congress MLAs Arvinder Singh Lovely and Haroon Yusuf address press conference. Say: "AAP is making a mockery of democracy, and trying to fool the people of Delhi. Fresh polls are not in the interest of Delhi.  AAP does not want to form government, and trying to impose conditions to wiggle away from forming government."

1:20 pm: Eight Congress MLAs meet at Sheila Dikshit's residence. Says Chaudhary Mateen Ahmed: " He (Kejriwal) is not capable of running the government" Says Mohammed Asif: "Kejriwal is trying to misquide and manipulate people. We have not given an unconditional support. Our support is conditional based on their manifesto".

1:00 pm: Congress leader Shakeel Ahmed says, we have got Arvind Kejriwal's letter. Soaniaji has forwarded that letter to me. We will go through the lengthy letter and then give a measured response, he tells India TV.

12:20 pm: Lieutenant Governor's Secretariat press release says: The Leader of the AAP Legislature Party, Arvind Kejriwal met the Hon'ble Lt. Governor today. Referring to the letter of support received from the Congress Party, Kejriwal said that he would be in a position to form a Government only after ascertaining the views of the people of Delhi.  The Hon'ble Lt. Governor will be submitting a factual report to the Hon'ble President of India.

11:30 am: In Ralegan Siddhi, former IPS officer Kiran Bedi says: "Kejriwal needs to change gear now, from movement mode to administration mode.  Kejriwal still seems to be in protest mode, he has to come out of it. I have no advice to give gratis to Kejriwal."

11:20 am: Congress spokesman Bhakta Charan Das: "AAP talks of common people, but they must understand it is aam aadmi's money which is going down the drain after conducting elections. We are not supporting Kejriwal or AAP, we are supporting only for the cause of democracy. It is now AAP's responsibility to fulfil the promises they made to the people. We don't want to burden people with another election."

11:15 am: Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad says, when all others are ready to support the govt, I don't know why they are seeking 10 days to form the govt.

11:05 am: Sources say, LG has spoken to Home Ministry recommending President's Rule from Monday, keeping the elected assembly in suspended animation.

11:03 am: Kejriwal says, The LG told me, we will call you whenever you are ready to form a government.

10:59 am: After meeting LG, Kejriwal says, "any govt can being formed on the basis of issues. Nobody gives unconditional support. We did not seek their support, these people are themselves offering support. We want to know the motive behind this"

10:00 am: JD(U) MLA Shoaib Iqbal says, he has sent a letter to Lt Gov offering unconditional support to AAP. Says, AAP is a secular party and the pople of Delhi don't want Lt. Governor's rule. Adds, there is no doubt that AAP has got a mandate this time in Delhi. I spoke to Nitish Kumar, he told me to stop BJP from forming government in any way.  AAP and JD(U) are like-minded parties, says Shoaib Iqbal.

9:40 am: Kejriwal leaves his home for Raj Niwas to meet Lt Governor Najeeb Jung.

9:00 am: AAP leader Yogendra Yadav tweets;  Am trying to fathom what is "unconditional" about Congress support to AAP. Does it go beyond govt formation, to AAP manifesto & policies?
