It was filed under IPC Sections related to cheating, 493 (cohabitation caused by a man deceitfully inducing a belief of lawful marriage), 494 (marrying again during life time of husband or wife), criminal intimidation, criminal conspiracy, among others, against Narayan Sai, the woman's "husband" and four others, Reena's lawyer N A Sheikh told reporters.
The complainant has filed a separate plea demanding a probe into the issue. The Court has fixed September 20 for arguments in this matter.
Reena, who at present stays with her parents here, alleged Narayan Sai lied that his disciple was a divorcee and got her married to him in a factory on December 10, 2004.
She said her family members were devotees of Asaram and his son and therefore, they blindly trusted Narayan Sai.
Later, her in-laws allegedly started harassing her for bringing dowry worth Rs four lakh. They would also beat her up and forced her to abort her child.
Reena said she later came to know that her partner had not divorced his first wife. When she approached Narayan Sai to discuss the issue, he threatened her and also indulged in "indecent acts" with her, Reena alleged.
According to her, in June 2005, Narayan Sai telephoned her brother and asked him to convince her for abortion.
Reena claimed she had not raised the issue earlier as she was afraid of Narayan Sai and his influence.
