New Delhi/Indore: A married woman from Indore today alleged in a live interview on India TV that on January 29, 2005, Asaram Bapu's son Narayan Sai "indulged in indecent acts" with her in Mhow, while resting on his bed, when she went to complain about her husband.
Replying to queries from India TV Executive Editor Sanjay Bragta, the woman, who had covered her face to hide her identity, alleged that the sewadar had allowed her to go upstairs to Narayan Sai's room, where Asaram's son was lying on his bed.
"I told him about my husband who was forcing me to abort, because he was unwilling to give his name to my child, as he was already married.
"When I told Narayan Sai about the "mental and physical torture" from my husband, Asaram's son sided with my husband and told me to do what my husband was pressurising me to do. He (Narayan Sai) then crossed the limits and inappropriately touched me."
The woman said, she never thought a guru like Narayan Sai would commit such a sort of act. "He (Narayan Sai) then threatened me not to reveal this to anybody outside".
The woman has already lodged a case against Narayan Sai in a court in Indore alleging Narayan Sai got her married to an already wedded man by presenting him as a divorcee and thus cheated her.
The case was filed in the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Preeti Jain by one Reena Wadhwani (37).
