New Delhi: Despite continuing protest and dharna by Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, the union home ministry has declared that they will not revoke their earlier decision and suspend the three SHOs AAP wanted suspended.
The development comes as a big snub for Kejriwal who has been up in arms against the Centre and the Delhi Police over the past week and accused the police of taking bribes in collusion with politicians.
Meanwhile, the chief minister and several of his ministers continued to stage an unprecedented sit-demonstration, demanding the suspension of three police officers.
The chief minister on Monday also called on residents of Delhi to join the protests that he said would continue for the next 10 days.
On the other hand, Supreme Court today agreed to hear two PILs seeking action against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Law Minister Somnath Bharti for creating chaos in the heart of the capital.
