Bhopal: Congress candidate from Mandsaur Lok Sabha constituency Meenakshi Natarajan does not own any immovable property in her name, but has movable assets worth Rs 46.62 lakh.
The 40-year-old senior Congress leader has declared this in the affidavit she filed along with the nomination papers.
The movable assets owned by her, including the fixed deposits and insurance policies, stand at Rs 46, 62,146, which is up from Rs 10,64,888 in 2009.
The sitting MP, who is contesting the Lok Sabha polls for the second time from the same constituency, has declared that she has Rs 30,000 cash and owns gold ornaments worth Rs 3 lakh.
Meenakshi had studied MSc in Biochemistry from DAVV Indore and there is one criminal case against her for violation of section 144 of the CrPc (unlawful assembly).
Besides Natarajan, BJP candidate Sudhir Gupta and AAP nominee Paras Saklecha are in the fray from Mandsaur, among others.
