Allahabad: Advocates of Allahabad High Court yesterday went on a flash strike to protest against a Lucknow bench judge who allegedly misbehaved with a lawyer inside a courtroom.
The irate lawyers have announced that they will abstain from work tomorrow as well.
The strike began after lunch following a meeting of the High Court Bar Association where a resolution was passed demanding that the said judge be “transferred to a far-off high court and under no circumstances be shifted here”.
The advocates were livid over reports that abusive language was yesterday used by the Lucknow Bench judge against a lawyer during the hearing of a case.
