New Delhi: An angry Arvind Kejriwal today spewed out a series of tweets to allege that Delhi Police was trying "to play politics" by revealing a conspiracy by Indian Mujahideen to abduct the Delhi chief minister.

Kejriwal tweeted: "I wud urge police to stop playing politics. Rather than giving security to me, let them deploy these men for aam aadmi's security

" I am not afraid of my life. As i said, i strongly believe in God. Will not take any security.

"Is delhi police so foolish or r they playing politics? At whose instance?

"By announcing this, haven't police made me vulnerable. Now anyone can attack and it would be said that Bhatkal's men did it.

"Police officials met me in afternoon. Informed me abt threat. Asked me not to disclose it to media. Den dey themselves went and told media

"Is delhi police n central govt playing politics with my security?"

Kejriwal is expected to lead a large number of AAP workers to sit on protest outside Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde's office and/or residence.

Delhi Police has clamped Sec 144 prohibitory orders throughout New Delhi to prevent Kejriwal from assembling.

Earlier in the day, police officials said, terror outfit Indian Mujahideen was planning to abduct Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for release of its key member Yaseen Bhatkal who was arrested from Indo-Nepal border on August 27 last year.
