Arunachalam Muruganantham, is one such person who despite being a school dropout, has created wonders in the field of sanitation for women.

He is the inventor of inexpensive and easy-to-use sanitary napkins for women in rural India.

Hailing from Coimbatore in  Tamil Nadu, Arunachalam has revolutionized the menstrual health of rural women by inventing a simple machine that can manufacture low cost sanitary pads.
