Jodhpur: Premium healthcare group Narayana Health yesterday announced the launch of its first comprehensive Heart Centre in Rajasthan at Jodhpur Medical College and Hospital (JMCH).
The JMCH Narayana Heart Centre was jointly inaugurated by Kamal Mehta, Chairman and Managing Director, Jodhpur Medical College and Hospital and Dr Devi Shetty, Chairman, Narayana Health, which will manage and operate the cardiac surgery and cardiology division at the hospital, according to a release.
Dr Shetty expressed happiness about the association and said the group's expertise would be brought to the people of Jodhpur and West Rajasthan.
Mehta said that the Cardiac division will include 60 beds, 10 surgical ICU beds and 10 medical ICU beds.
After establishing heart centres across Karnataka and parts of West Bengal, Narayana Heart Network has now extended its service to Rajasthan.
