Mumbai: Minor fire broke out at the Indian Naval Ship Matanga in Mumbai today .
Emission of thick smoke from one of the compartments was observed by wielding workers,who were carrying out steel welding in the Sewage Treatment Plant compartment of the ship around 3 PM .
No casualties were reported and situation was brought under control by the ships staff with assistance from Naval Dockyard fire station.
Naval authorities are inquiring the cause of fire.
