Bangalore: The man who launched Air Deccan, Capt. G. R. Gopinath - ehe brand new member of Aam Aadmi Party in Bangalore has asked party chief Arvind Kejriwal not to work in haste and take all decisions by considering all the advantages and disadvantages.

He suggested Kejriwal to reconsider his decision of scrapping  FDI in retail.

Kejriwal had reversed the approval granted by Congress to international chains to set up shop in the capital, arguing that such a move would lead to large-scale job losses.

Captain Gopinath is known as the pioneer of low cost aviation in India. His Air Deccan, magnum opus of an enterprise, was something that sent shivers down the spine of major airlines of India.

Gopinath said on Wednesday “Why give Indian corporates a chance, and refuse the same opportunities to foreign corporates? It will create jobs. I think AAP should reconsider its stand,” Captain Gopinath said, when asked about his party's stand on the entry of mutli-brand retail chains in India.
