New Delhi: Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal  today promised to come out on streets again to protect the honour of women.


In his first Republic Day speech at Chhatrasal Stadium after taking the salute at a marchpast by Delhi Police, Kejriwal said, "women's security is of utmost importance to us. We have formed a committee under Chief Secretary to look into making a special task force to provide security for women. "

He said "I will come out on the streets again to raise my voice for security of women  in the capital as many times as it is required."

He said: "It is our dream to make Delhi the first corruption free state of India and very soon, power will be in the hands of the people of Delhi."

He also mentioned that auto drivers and rickshaw pullers told his party workers that the menace of policemen taking bribes from them has stopped now.

On Lokpal bill he stated “the Lokpal Bill is almost ready. We will hold a special session and pass the Jan Lokpal Bill, we will bring the Jan Lokpal Bill in the Delhi Assembly in February”.

During his speech Kejriwal  questioned ,why sitting on protest is getting so much of criticism from people. "Constitution does not say that a CM cannot sit on protest, I have not violated the law”.
