New Delhi: IPS officer Bhim Sain Bassi is all set to take over one of the most challenging assignments in the Indian Police. Bassi, currently serving as Special Commissioner (Administration), will take charge of the over 80,000-strong force on August 1. He will be the 19th Commissioner of Delhi Police.
This tough IPS officer is 57 years old and has also been the special commissioner (vigilance), joint commissioner (southern range) and additional commissioner (northern range).
