Kejriwal says, will quit a thousand times, if Jan Lokpal Bill not passed

BJP leader Vijay Kumar Malhotra said, Kejriwal has lied 40 times in the last 40 days, and every time he is swearing on his children's head.

"Kejriwal is making false statements one after the other. He claimed, four jurists cleared his Jan Lokpal Bill, but all the jurists backed out one by one."

"We support the Jan Lokpal Bill, but Kejriwal has the habit of making a drama every now and then".

Leader of Opposition Dr Harsh Vardhan demanded that the AAP government should at least share the draft of Jan Lokpal Bill with other parties.

Senior AAP leader Prashant Bhushan said, he was unaware of what the President said today, but elected assemblies have the power to pass bills and resolutions.

"But to say that before passing any bill, it has to be cleared by the Centre goes against the tenets of the Consitution. If an elected assembly cannot pass a bill, then what is the point in running a government", said the Supreme court lawyer.
