New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today met Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung regarding a SIT probe into the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
The meeting comes amidst furore over an interview given by Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi to a television news channel where he refused to apologise for the riots.
The interview has now fuelled the demands for a SIT probe into the violence during which thousands of Sikh men and women were killed.
Only 28 people have been convicted in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots so far.
