New Delhi, Mar 22: Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal will begin ‘water, power' non-cooperation movement in Delhi from tomorrow by sitting on indefinite fast from 11 am here.
Kejriwal said, he has no demands on the government, but he would like to appeal to the people of Delhi to stop paying water, power bills from tomorrow.
“If power companies disconnect electric connections, we will restore it”, said Kejriwal.
He alleged that the power distribution companies' claim of Rs 20,000 crore loss was fictitious.
Kejriwal said, he has chosen the martyrdom day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh tomorrow to launch his indefinite fast.
Aam Aadmi Party leader Gopal Rai said, the non-coperation movement will be launched in 264 wards of Delhi, during which letters of support from local residents will be collected.
