New Delhi: Sushil Kumar, winner of Rs 5 crore on reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati, has denied that he has spent all his money and now he is broke. He said that it was just a rumour started by his friends and it was not true.
Speaking to a leading daily, Sushil Kumar said that a few of his friends had asked money from him and he had refused citing that all his money was spent. Later on, his friends started the rumour that he has spent all of Rs 5 crore he won on fifth season of KBC in 2011.
According to Kumar, he is working on his mission of educating 40 children he had adopted. He is also planning to open a library in his village near Motihari in North Bihar.
The first contestant ever to win Rs 5 crore on reality show KBC, Sushil said that he met JD(U) leader and ex Bihar CM Nitish Kumar recently. He hinted that he might join politics to fulfill his dream of serving people. He is currently in Madhya Pradesh to attend the inauguration of a school opened by another KBC contestant Somendra Singh Rathore.

It is worth a note that a news report broke out recently that Sushil is now struggling to make ends meet. Before becoming the winner in the show Sushil Kumar worked as computer operator earning Rs 6000 per month.
