Chennai: DMK supremo M Karunanidhi's daughter Kanimozhi was today admitted to Kauvery Hospital here after she complained of uneasiness and exhaustion.
"She is undergoing treatment for tiredness and exhaustion, with intravenous fluid therapy. She has been advised complete rest for the nest few days. She is recovering well and will be discharged from the hospital soon", a medical bulletin issued by the hospital said.
Kanimozhi complained on exertion and uneasiness early this morning after which she was rushed to hospital.
Karunanidhi and his political heir M K Stalin went to meet Kanimozhi later in the afternoon.
Kanimozhi's private secretary Sarvanandan said, the DMK MP was too busy for the last three to four days, and could not take adequate rest. She was busy preparing her speech on reservation, he added.
This morning, she complained of giddiness and was taken to hospital, where she was admitted to Room no 434 on the four floor.
