The book was launched on Thursday. While Speaking to reporters during the launch Gill said that after taking charge as the security advisor of Gujarat, he had visited all places where violence had taken place and policemen from top to bottom refuted having received any direction of the type being mentioned.
Addressing the audience, Gill said some of his family members did not like his views on Godhra riots and Narendera Modi. He stated that for the past few days, I have had serious discord with my family over what I have said about Mr Modi in this book. But I have always lived by the truth.
