Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir government today set up a relief cell where people can seek information about their near and dear ones stranded due to floods in Kashmir division.

The cell has been set up in the office of JKTDC with Susheel Attri General Manager, Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation (JKTDC) as Nodal Officer, an official spokesman said here today.

All queries with regard to Kashmir division can be made on telephone Nos: 0191-2565838, 2565848 and 2576594.

With weather conditions getting improved in the flood ravaged Jammu Kashmir; the Army is looking to intensify the rescue operations in Srinagar city and South Kashmir where a large number of people remain trapped in their houses without any basic amenities.
