In the sting video, the mediator Shyam Lal is shown sitting on a sofa in the victim's house and speaking to the woman and her son.
When the victim's son, on what grounds would her mother withdraw her FIR, Shyamlal said, the statement was yet to be recorded, and the lawyer would tell the court about the 'compromise'.
When the rape victim asked where Babulal Nagar's brother Hazarilal was, Shyamlal said, it was 11:30 pm and he may be at uncle's residence. When the lady asked who was the uncle, Shyamlal said, he was the councillor of ward number 1.
When the rape victim asked why Babulal Nagar was offering money when it was his own party which was in power, Shyamlal replied: "He may have to go to jail at least once."
Shyamlal also said, the FSL (Forensic Science Lab) report on the rape would definitely come negative, and the officers handling the case would make a file so weak that Nagar would get bail very soon.
When the rape victim said, her son was against withdrawing the case, come what may, Shyamlal said, it would be better if she does the raajinaama(compromise) if she wanted to stay in Jaipur.
When the rape victim said, how much Nagar was offering, Shyamlal said, he was offering Rs 7 crore.
Victim: Who will give the money?
Shyamlal: Nagar.
Victim: He will give you Rs 7 crore, and Rs 2 crore to me?
Shyamlal: Whatever money I get, I will give it to you. I will get a straight deal done, so that both of you could be satisfied.
Victim's son: Tell us, what the lawyer will tell in court?
Shyamlal: It's the lawyer who can say what he'll tell the court.
The rape victim has told Rajasthan chief minister and state police chief that she was still getting threats and she feared either she or her son would be kidnapped.
