Hyderabad: YSR Congress party chief Jaganmohan Reddy, who was released from jail last month on graft charges against him, has sought permission from a local court to move out of Hyderabad.
The MP from Kadapa who was released from jail on conditional bail last month, had earlier filed a petition in special CBI court to visit parts of Andhra Pradesh and New Delhi.
The court will hear the plea on October 15.
The CBI court, which granted him conditional bail, has directed him not to leave Hyderabad without the court's permission. After spending nearly 16 months in jail for disproportionate assets case, Jagan was directed not to leave Hyderabad without seeking court's approval.
According to the application, being an MP and leader of a political party, the YSR Congress chief has to meet members of public and travel frequently.
Jagan, who launched an indefinite fast on October 5 in support of a united Andhra Pradesh, was shifted to a hospital here on October 9 after his health condition deteriorated.
