New Delhi, Mar 12: Israel's National Security Advisor Yaakov Amidror today met Home Minister P Chidambaram and is understood to have discussed with him the progress made in the probe into the terror attack on an Israeli woman diplomat here.
During the 50-minute meeting, Amidror and Chidambaram are believed to have deliberated on various aspects of the case and other issues concerning the two countries, sources said.
Both Amidror and Chidambaram refused to say anything on what transpired at the meeting.
Amidror's visit comes close on the heels of the arrest of a journalist here in connection with the February 13 attacks in which Tal Yehoshua-Koren was seriously injured. The scribe, Syed Mohammed Kazmi, used to write for an Iranian news agency and frequently traveled to the Middle-East.
However, it is not clear how much information the Home Minister shared with Amidror on the terror attack probe as the investigation is still on.
