New Delhi: A latest video released by the ISIS-linked terror group Ansar-ul-Tawhid Fi Bilad Al Hind (AuT) has depicted Indian Mujahideen (IM) operatives, who died in the 2008 Batla House encounter, as its ‘martyrs.

The video was released on the sixth anniversary of the Batla House encounter on Friday.

Reports stated that the terrorist outfit video shows ISIS chief Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi hailing IM operatives as its ‘martyrs'

A series of messages, in English, Hindi and Arabic, along with the pictures of Ameen and Sajid, were emerged on the twitter handle of AuT on Thursday night. The captions called them ‘shaheed'.

“Batla House Encounter | In Sha Allah We Will Revenge,” it reads.

"We the mujahideens renew our pledge to avenge the martyrdom of Batla House encounter and other oppressed Muslims including our imprisoned brothers unless and until we establish Sharia law in India under the global Khilafah (Caliphate) wiping out all the man-made boundaries.”

It is believed that this terror group is based in the Af-Pak region.

In 2008, seven days after the national capital was rocked by serial blasts, Delhi Police carried out an encounter after they believed that IM operatives were housed at Batla House area of South Delhi. Atif Ameen and Chhota Sajid alias Mohammed Sajid were killed in the gunfight.
