New Delhi: Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence has reportedly sought underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's assistance along with Yaqoob Khan and terror outfit aka Rasool "Party" to target BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, Indian intelligence agencies said.
The fresh input gathered by central intelligence agencies reveals that the ISI is taking the underworld don's assistance to target Modi. The intelligence note prepared on the threat to Modi has also mentioned about the ISI-Dawood nexus.
The report states the Gujarat chief minister is also facing threats from various terror outfits.
Media reports said, the note was prepared after the serial blasts during Modi's rally in Patna on October 27.
The intelligence note also reveals that Modi faces a risk not just within India but also from other countries. Other than Pakistan's ISI, terror operatives in Saudi Arabia are also targeting Modi.
According to the report, a terror operative - Shahid alias Bilal - has informed an unidentified associate in Saudi Arabia that a suicide attack would be a better option as against a remote-controlled Improvised Explosive Device (IED) to attack Modi.
