New Delhi: The Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh Police has claimed to arrest an ISI agent from Meerut.
The arrested person has been identified as Asif Ali, a resident of the Dehli Gate area of the city.
Sources said the agent had links with some officers in the Indian Army.
Police also recovered some documents related to the Indian Army from his possession.
Police also said that a debit card, passport and passbook of a Pakistan based bank and a mobile SIM card of Pakistan was recovered from him.
Local unit of the Intelligence Bureau is also interrogating Ali.
An FIR has been lodged in city Kotwali of Meerut in this regard.
