New Delhi: Well, Metro has made life easier but is it safe for Women passengers traveling in general coach? Though it's the most convenient and safest mode of public transport, Delhi Metro also faces security challenges from different quarters especially eve teasers.
Delhi Metro cannot be blamed for everything going on in the metro and obviously it can't catch the wrong- doers but yes, they can definitely deploy more police personnel if they really want safety of the women passengers. Though Delhi Metro took the initiative of reserving the first coach for women passengers still there are male passengers who deliberately travel in ladies coaches showing utter disrespect to the law. Moreover, if sometimes the women coach is packed, it doesn't mean that men traveling in general coach will start misbehaving with the women passengers traveling in general coach.
