Noida, April 5 : Amit Srivastava, the HR head of infotech major HCL Ltd, was killed when iron rods protruding at least ten feet out of a strationary truck, hit the windowpanes of his i10 car near Sector 60 this morning.
There were three persons sitting inside the car. Sudhir was saved miraculously while Vikrant was critically injured and sent to Fortis Hospital.
The i10 car (number HR26 BV3854) suddenly faced an oncoming truck, and while trying to avoid a collision, the car dashed into a stationary truck carrying long iron rods, protuding at least 10 feet outside.
The truck driver absconded after the accident. Police rushed to the spot, pulled out the iron rods, and sent Vikrant to hospital.
