The number of COVID-19 infected patients continues to rise in Madhya Pradesh's Indore district. Samples of 30 patients were reported positive on Thursday taking the tally to 945. Indore Chief Medical and Health Officer Praveen Jadia said on Thursday that the report of samples from 30 patients had come positive raising the total number of patients to 945 in the district. At the same time, the death toll of a patient has increased the toll to 53.
Jadia further said that during the last 24 hours, 16 patients have been discharged from the hospital after negative reports came in. At present there are about 100 patients who are now alright and waiting for their second corona report to come as negative, he said.
Apart from this, 2,000 teams have been formed to conduct surveys with the cooperation of the Municipal Corporation and Administration.
