Indigo flight Delhi Airport: A Maruti Swift Dzire car belonging to Go First airlines was stopped under the nose wheel of an Indigo aircraft on Tuesday, at the Delhi airport. Indigo flight VT-ITJ was parked at Terminal T-2 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport. It was Indigo flight 6E-2022 scheduled to fly to Patna from Delhi and flew on schedule after the issue was resolved.
The vehicle narrowly escaped a collision with the Indigo plane. IndiGo and Go First did not respond to news agency PTI's request for statements on this incident.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) will investigate the incident that happened at stand number 201 of the airport's T2 terminal, its officials stated. The car's driver was subjected to a breath analyser test for consumption of alcohol and it was found to be negative, the officials added.
There was no damage to the plane and no one was injured, aviation industry sources said. The plane departed for Patna on schedule, they mentioned.
