Dubai: As a humanitarian act and sense of brotherhood for the victims of Kashmir floods, an Indian student in Kuwait has collected over Rs 2 lakh from people.
D R Pratyusha collected 1000.250 dinars for making his contribution to the ongoing relief work for millions of victims of Kashmir floods. This is the worst flood that Kashmir has seen in over a century.
Pratyusha is in the 11th grade and is a student of Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Kuwait. He donated the money to the PM's National Relief Fund for those affected by the unprecedented floods.
The Indian Embassy in Kuwait yesterday said in a statement that it highly commends such humanitarian efforts shown by a young Indian national in Kuwait.
