Indian Railways to run special trains to Bihar for Chhath Puja
Chhath Puja special trains list: Indian Railways has announced to run special trains to Bihar to manage the heavy rush of passengers for Chhath Puja. The national transporter will run 46 trains to clear the rush. Chhath Puja celebrations will be observed from November 18 to November 21.
Earlier on October 13, the Indian Railways announced that it will operate 392 festival special trains between October 20 and November 30 in view of the upcoming festive season. The special trains are being run to cater to the growing demand in the ensuing holiday period of Durga Puja, Dussehra, Diwali and Chhatt puja.
The Indian Railways has till now pressed into service more than 300 mail/express trains which are now running regularly across the country. These new festival special trains will operate only till November 30 and will not have a continued run.
