New Delhi: A 22-year-old girl from a village near Dhanbad, Jharkhand, Amirun Nisa, has married her Facebook friend Ejaz Ali of Gujrat near Gujranwala, Pakistan.
Amirun Nisa, a resident of Narsa village in Dhanbad district, became friend with Ejaz, a cellphone technician, through Facebook one and a half years back. She later went to Pakistan to visit her boyfriend and married him in Gujrat in Pakistan Punjab province.
Ejaz's family gave consent to the marriage and the wedding was held with the consent of her family and friends through a court marriage on November 3, Dunya TV reported.

Amirun Nisa said, she is happy with her husband in Pakistan and doesn't want to return to India. Her husband has now appealed both the governments to allow her permanent stay in Pakistan.
Amirun Nisa said Pakistanis were very loving and caring people and she was feeling at home due to the affection being accorded to her by her in-laws.
She however said, she was facing problems because of registration with the local police station as she was still an Indian national.
