India TV Prepare For World Cup Fever

In order to cash in on the upcoming Cricket World Cup fever media houses are coming up with new shows. In this regard India TV has prepared a host of new programs based on the life and history of Team India players to be aired between evening Six to Ten in the night.  


Speaking on the preparations to Samachar4Media, India TV managing editor Vinod Kapri said: "We are trying to bring to the viewers every aspects related to the players from the field to their villages. 

This mahasamar will start in the evening at six o'clock with 'Ranbhoomi' attended by the world's ten greatest veteran cricketers and discuss every aspects related to cricket.  These veterans include Sunil Gavaskar, Sanjay Manjrekar, Ravi Shastri, Mohinder Amarnath, Srikkanth, Javagal Srinath, Sourav Ganguly, Sandeep Patil and also likes of  Clive Lloyd, Vivian Richards and Michael Bevan. 

In this, journey will start at 6:30 pm with 'Cricket Camp'. In this particular camp basic cricket skills and tricks will be discussed. The tricks of cricket will be discussed by dashing opening batsman Virender Sehwag's coach A. S. Sharma, Virat Kohli's coach Raj Sharma and Gautam Gambhir's coach Sanjay Bhardwaj.  

At 7:00 pm India TV will continue with its old show "Chak De Cricket”.  In which former cricketer Chetan Sharma will review the day's match.

At Eight India TV will air 'Survir Ke Shehar" hosted by Vinod Kapri.  In this viewers will be familiarized with every aspects related to Team India players from the field to their villages. 

India TV will come at nine with 'D Company' ie Dhoni company.  It will showcase documentaries related to Team India players for 15 days.  From 9:30 – 10 pm India TV will air “World Cup Har Keemat Par” in which cricket experts will share their experience that could help India in bringing home the World Cup.  (More...)
