New Delhi: 2nd India Ideas Conclave is all set to start from tomorrow in Goa. The 3-day conclave will be held from November 15-17 at Hotel Marriott, Panaji.
The theme of this conclave is "Learnings From Civilization".
The conclave will discuss various topics of national and social significance e.g. "Kashmiriat, Jamhooriat, Insaniat", "Rise of Radicalism: Future of Civilizations", "Gender Equality, Gender Sensitivity, Gender Neutrality", "Identity politics in the North-East India" and "Digitisation – Future of India".
Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev, Spiritual Leader and Founder of Isha Foundation, will be the keynote speaker in this conclave.
A large number of eminent people including Union Ministers, Chief Ministers, CEOs, scientists, academics, journalists, political leaders, government officials and public intellectuals from India and abroad are expected to attend this event.

Some of the distinguished speakers of this conclave include Bhutanese Prime Minister Lyonchhen T. Tobgay, Goa Chief Minister Laxmikant Pareskar, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Syed, Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu, Nagaland CM T R Zeliang, Union Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, Union Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu, Minister of State for Commerce & Industry Nirmala Sitaraman, Minister of State for Finance Jayant Sinha, American Institute of Vedic Studies director David Frawley, Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind general secretary Maulana Mahmood A. Madani, Eminent Historian & Author Patrick French and DICCI (Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry) founder Milind Kamble.
The conclave is being organised by India Foundation which is an independent research centre focussed on the issues, challenges and opportunities of the Indian polity. India Foundation claims to be a premier think tank that seeks to articulate Indian nationalistic perspective on various issues.
1st India Ideas Conclave was held in Goa on 18-20 December, 2014.Several White Papers were presented at the Conclave by eminent scholars one of which has subsequently been adopted by the Government of India this year.
